  • Q: Does Must Love Veg cost money to use?
    No. It is 100% free to use Must Love Veg.
  • Q: If it's free, how do you make money?
    Hmm… We probably should have thought more carefully about that.

    We want to help people meet others with common values. And we want to do it for free.

  • Q: How do I create an event?
    Any member can create an event that will show up on the calendar.

    How to create an event:
    1. Go to your Profile.
    2. Click the Events tab on your profile.
    3. Click the My Events tab.
    4. Click the Add New button on the right side of the page right above the event search box.
  • Q: How do I delete an event?
    You can not delete an event once it is created. But you can update the event to add “CANCELLED” into the title.

    How to update an event:
    1. Go to your Profile.
    2. Click the Events tab on your profile.
    3. Click the My Events tab.
    4. Click on the name of the event you want to modify.
    5. Update the event details.
  • Q: Can you import my organization/group's events?
    Yes. We can automatically import events from Meetup.com groups, Facebook pages and groups, and Eventbrite profiles if you contact us. For all other events you can add them to the calendar yourself by going to the “Events” tab of your MustLoveVeg.com profile and then going to the “My Events” tab from there.

    Contact us if we aren’t already importing your events. And we can set it up to import your events automatically once a week, depending on how often you post new events.

    We can also have imported events automatically assigned to your MustLoveVeg.com account if you create an organizational account and then contact us. This will enable you to update existing events if they are cancelled or change, as events are not automatically updated once we initially import them into this site.

  • Q: How do I update an event you imported from my organization/group?
    First create a free organizational account. Then contact us if we aren’t already importing your events, providing the website address to your events and the name of your organizational account. And we can set it up to import your events automatically once a week, depending on how often you post new events. And if we are already importing your events, contact us with the website address to your events and the name of your organizational account so that we can assign your existing and future events to your account.

    You will be able to update an event once we assign it to your account. You will do this by going to the “Events” tab of your MustLoveVeg.com profile and then going to the “My Events” tab from there. Or you can access your event’s page from the calendar and click the “Edit this Event” button at the top of the event’s details.

  • Q: Why can't I upload a photo?
    If you get a message that says something like “An error occurred. Please try again later.” try logging out and then back in. If that doesn’t help try renaming your photo’s file name before uploading if it has a long name. And if that doesn’t help try uploading the photo and don’t click any buttons that say “crop”.

    Otherwise if it’s a different message it could be because we limit each user to uploading 15 MB of photos or 15 photos to their account, whichever comes first.
