The VSDC LGTBQ group is heading to brunch at Smoke & Barrel on December 17! Smoke & Barrel is a casual sit-down restaurant that specializes in BBQ dishes. Several of the brunch items are vegan, including smoked vegan wings, vegan french toast, and the chili cheese tofu scramble. All are welcome to join for great food and conversation as we discuss our vegan journeys!

We will have brunch at 11:30 AM. The address is 2471 18th St NW. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming. If your plans change, update your RSVP. This is very important because the restaurant has limited space and must have an accurate count to seat larger groups.

Transit Options: Metrorail Yellow/Green lines to U-Street station (20-minute walk) or to Columbia Heights station (15-minute walk). You can also take Metrorail Red line to Dupont Circle and walk 20 minutes. Street parking is available but extremely limited. Be sure and read all signs. Metro is recommended.
