Event Description
Each year the Vancouver Island Vegan Association hosts a holiday themed community vegan potluck where everyone is invited to come and celebrate great vegan food, love for animals, and the company of friends.
We will be showing holiday movie favorites for everyone to enjoy during the potluck! Feel free to request your favourite on the event page.
Vegan or not, everyone is welcome to join us, but any food you bring for the potluck must be vegan.
This is an animal-friendly event, so bring a vegan dish with at least 8 servings (no dairy, eggs, fish, honey, gelatin, whey/casein, or other byproducts) to share with others.
Make sure to bring a plate, cup, and cutlery for yourself, and a serving utensil for your dish (and a bag for your dirty dishes!)
If you’re not a cook or are pressed for time, no worries! Sharing store-bought food is fine.
Please bring an ingredients list for your dish and please indicate if your dish is gluten free as we will have a gluten free table.
The entrance to the Cook St. Activity Centre is around the side of the building.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
We would like to acknowledge that the Vancouver Island Vegan Association organizes their events on the unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Lekwungen speaking peoples, now known as the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations.
