Event Description
UNITE FOR THE ANIMALS!
In 2016 London hosted the first Official Animal Rights March where 2,500 vegans marched demanding an end to all animal oppression - and now, with great excitement activists from Berkeley are hosting their first Official Animal Rights March with support from PETA, Direct Action Everywhere, The Save Movement, Vegans of the Bay, Berkeley Organization for Animal Advocacy, and Berkeley Animal Rights Center.
In July 2017 San Francisco hosted it's first March to Close All Slaughterhouses where over 800 activists took to the streets, let’s make Berkeley's march BIGGER, LOUDER, BOLDER and BRIGHTER. The future is vegan, but we must take to the streets and continue to speak out on behalf of the animals until the day that their suffering ends.

F.A.Q - DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?
We encourage you to make placards, banners and even costumes - we want this to be a bright and bold march! We would also love instruments, such as drums. However, bringing yourself is the most important thing of all! If you would like to do outreach along the way ensure you bring lots of leaflets.
