Lace up your sneakers and start hitting the trails because the Poplar Spring Run (or Walk) for the Animals is coming up!

The annual 5K run or fun walk is held at beautiful Wheaton Regional Park.

The run raises vital funds needed to feed and care for the 200+ rescued animals at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary.

When: Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.
Where: Wheaton Regional Park, Wheaton, Maryland

Timing chips will be distributed to runners.
Monetary prizes will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers. Race participants may go the extra mile by raising additional funds online for Poplar Spring. You may even select a picture of a specific Poplar Spring animal to proudly display on your webpage, letting your friends and family know about that animal and others at the sanctuary.
