They need all the help they can get for this so please come and join us.

You might want to bring the following with you: 

Rubber boots-if the weather is bad. Gloves!  Do not wear clothes you would mind getting dirty as you will get dirty.  Same with shoes. Do not wear sandals. Sneakers or boots are best. If it looks like rain bring rain gear.

A change of clothes.!!!

vegan lunch so that we can hang out afterwards.
We will be feeding the goats, sheep, pigs, horses, chickens, turkeys and bunnies.
As well as cleaning their stalls and getting fresh water.
Afterwards come and hang out with the animals. Or just have lunch.

And if you know ahead of time please email me ([email protected]) as we are getting a lot of people RSVPing and have started to do a wait list. So it is only fair that the people on the wait list get a chance if you can not attend.

If you just joined we do ask for a $5 a year membership fee. This is to cover the costs of Meetup charges. Once we get the Meetup fee covered we will then donate to Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary.

Please remember that if you can not make it that you need to let us know by the Friday before. Otherwise we have to put you down as a no-show.While we do realize the weather can be bad and we do not want you to take a chance-we will notify you by email to let you know the group was cancelled.

If you have to cancel at last minute please call me on my cell at 301 404 2892 so that Terry or I do not worry what happened to you.

And on another great note-Terry has mentioned to me several times how wonderful of a group this has been and how hard you all have worked! It is people like you that keep that help the world to be a better place! We can not thank you enough.
