Event hosted by DC's Vegan Calendar.

Patricia Welty hiked more than 2,100 miles on the Appalachian Trail in 2016 to raise money and awareness of the elephant poaching crisis in Africa.  She will share her experience and passion for elephants, and the benefits of hiking as a vegan. Patricia founded the group A Vegan Life.
