The second annual New Jersey Vegfest celebrates the great food and people of the Garden State while promoting compassion and a happier, healthier New Jersey. This two day event features speakers, food, fashion, lifestyle products, non-profits and more. The event opens at 11am on both Saturday, October 7, and Sunday, October 8, and ends at 5:30 on both days.

Saturday, October 7 Keynote Speaker

T. Colin Campbell

For decades Dr. T. Colin Campbell has been at the forefront of nutrition education and research. Dr. Campbell's expertise and scientific interests encompass relationships between diet and diseases, particularly the causation of cancer. His legacy, the China Project, is one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted. The New York Times has recognized the study as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology”.

Gene Baur

Gene Baur is co‑founder and president of Farm Sanctuary, and has been hailed as “the conscience of the food movement” by TIME magazine. He was a pioneer in undercover investigations and instrumental in passing the first U.S. laws to ban inhumane factory farming practices.

Ticket Price Schedule:  January 29-April 30 $20-35; May 1-July 30 $25-45; August 1-October 6 $30-$55. Kids 12 & under are free; we ask you to register the number of children that you are bringing so we can plan the best possible event for them.

Where can I stay?

We have a block of rooms reserved for the New Jersey VegFest at the Courtyard Seacaucus Meadowlands, which is within walking distance of the Meadowlands Expo Center. The room rate is $110 per night and you can make your reservations here:
