Come hang out at House of Steep in Arlington for a relaxing and centering evening of meditation and a delightful cup (or pot) of tea.

In a day and age where we often lose ourselves to the chaos of the external world, slowing down and bringing awareness to the present moment helps to create balance within. We welcome you to join Bruce and Melissa as they take you on a journey inside, through the body, mind, and spirit. Explore uncharted territories and familiar places, dive into the depths of the soul and through the interconnected spaces between, and awaken compassion, love, and kindness for yourself and for others. Through breathing, meditation, and mindfulness, Bruce and Melissa help you to find a sense of ease in the midst of a stressful world.

Week by week will will guide you through each of the 7 chakras, the energy centers of the human body and spirit, and offer insight on how to recognize each in yourself and practical exercises and suggestions to balance and heal each one. This week we will focus on the first, most physical energy center, the root chakra. Red in color, this chakra connects us to the physical realm, our bodies, and the earth.

So, please join us for a wonderful mid-week wind-down to relieve stress and prepare you for the rest of the workweek and each and every moment to come!
