Event Description
• What we'll do
What do you do if you encounter a bear, coyote or other animals in your yard or outdoors?
Get answers and ask questions at the Free Public Forum on COEXISTING WITH WILDLIFE: Simple Solutions, sponsored by the Windsor Conservation Commission. Speaker: Annie Hornish
This forum will provide simple ways to protect yourself, family, pets, and property and also understand the importance of wildlife's ecological value to human existence and survival and the land. Annie Hornish, CT Director of the HSUS (Humane Society of the United States) will share her expertise and provide important guidelines on this growing situation. A growing number of people have expressed concerns about seeing more and more wildlife on their property. Humans do not always understand the meaning behind how animals react and interact.
Refreshments will be served.
