It’s been a while! Your fabulous meetup coordinator Wayne has ok’d me to be event planner for this shindig. I am posting this early so folks can plan around other holiday events and hopefully join us. This meetup may not be for everyone, but I have offered Christmas Eve vegan meetup events elsewhere for several years and found a core group of folks came to very much appreciate the opportunity to make merry with other plant-based diners and not worry about what’s in the food.

Because more is decidedly merrier, I hope you will consider sharing this and inviting others. You’ll just have to keep your RSVP accurate so I can alert the restaurant. I further invite those of you on this list that are in other meetups to co-post the event, specifying that the RSVP come through this meetup or to me directly at [email protected] . I’ll gladly take questions and otherwise coordinate.

Diners will select from the already vegan menu and can pay by party, just let the server know how many are in your party when you are seated so they can map the table. Be sure to check your bill for a suggested gratuity and pay as you deem appropriate. Help Others This Festive Time of Year
I will be collecting donations for the HoCo Food Bank https://www.mdfoodbank.org/partner-locations/howard-county-food-bank/ and will drop them off after Christmas Day. Please consider bringing a nonperishable VEGAN food donation for people and/or pets with you. I’d also like to thank our Vegetable Garden hosts, particularly George who couldn’t have been more accommodating.
While I plan to allow RSVPs up to the last moment, I’d appreciate your replying by December 22 so we can firm up the table set up and the restaurant can plan other parties. Don’t assume if you don’t let me know by then, you can’t come, please do check. In my experience there is a flurry of ads and drops just around event day! After Events
Since this is an early dinner, please feel free to suggest festive follow on offerings like caroling, lights viewing, movies etc. I invite your suggestions and thoughts in the comments area below. Even board games and musical instruments would be welcome if the spirit moves you. And most importantly, ugly holiday sweaters are welcome, but not required! I’m happy to buy an extra dessert for the person with the scariest one (in my opinion that is ;-)).
