Hi all, this is being organized by one of our members, Ed. Please direct any questions to him. What: Bear Canyon hike plus vegan lunch at Annapurna’s 

Time: Saturday, March 17th, 9:30 AM 

Location: Michial M Emery Trailhead (also known as Bear Canyon Trailhead), High Desert Place, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87111 (Meet at the rock benches) GPS Coordinates, 
 
The plan this time is for an easy to moderately difficult hike of about 3 to 4 miles, depending on how it’s going. If you haven’t been hiking for awhile, this might be a good way to ease yourself back into it. Parking is free at this location, but sometimes the lot fills up and there can be a brief wait for a space to become available.

 As a post hike option: 

Lunch at Annapurna’s, 5200 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111

 Please use care in ordering as not all dishes at Annapurna’s are completely vegan. Please respect all members of this ABQ Vegan Meetup event by ensuring that any food we bring along for the hike or order at the restaurant is completely plant-based (no meat, no dairy, no eggs, and no honey). If you would like to join for the lunch only that would be great too, but I can only predict a very approximate arrival time at the restaurant of 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM, to leave some flexibility for the speed of the hike.
