Event hosted by Vegan Kalamazoo Meetup.

Community Homeworks ( https://communityhomeworks.org/events ) does great work helping low-income people in our community with critical repairs and free education to help maintain affordable housing. So please support them while at the same time enjoying a unique Exotic Eats all vegan menu prepared by Chef Patrick Mixis and his team at Feed The World Cafe.

Each menu item will be paired with infused water, teas, and coffee. Cash bar available with pairing suggestions for each course as an option.

Menu - 100% Vegan

Course 1 – Salad with Japanese influence
Fresh Farm Julienne Vegetables Pickled in a Sweet and Spicy Giardiniera Served over Japanese Peanut Soba Noodles.

Course 2 – Appetizer with African roots
Vegan Samosas (African Fried Potato) with Pineapple Pepper Sauce and Vegan Savory Koeksisters (Vegan Fried Dough)

Course 3 – Appetizer inspired by Chinese cuisine
Chinese Style Lotus Root and Exotic Vegetables over Ancient Forbidden Rice

Course 4 – Main dish, Spiced with Cuban personality
Vegetable Spicy Cuban Risotto with a Beautiful Edible Flower Arrangement

Course 5 – Dessert "Salty and Sweet" based on an Italian favorite
Vegan Coconut Tiramisu with Coconut Milk Chocolate Espresso Powder Dust and Tangerine Rose Kulfi with Pineapple Caviar (fruit caviar).

Cost: $70 per person, includes tax and gratuity.
