Coconut Roasted Plantain with Fresh Pineapple
Oven roasted plantain slices rolled in toasted coconut and served on a bed of fresh greens, shredded cabbage and chopped pineapple
Banga Stew with Fufu
Palm fruit stew made with onions, peppers and bitterleaf, served with fufu - a warm soft dough made with plantain and cassava flour
Ewa Agoyin
Mashed black-eyed peas with onion served with a smoky pepper and palm oil sauce
Chocolate Coconut Puff Puff
Sweet fried chocolate dough topped with toasted coconut and maple syrup

Salimatu Amabebe is a vegan chef and owner of the recipe blog and catering company Bliss House. Salimatu hosts monthly vegan Nigerian pop-up dinners and is the creator of Black Feast, a pop-up dinner series that celebrates the work of black artists and writers.
All food will be vegan, gluten-free and made without the use of cane sugar. Come join us for an evening of deliciousness!
