Please join us and thousands of VEG lovers for the inaugural SW VegFest in downtown Phoenix at the beautiful Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix! Come enjoy a myriad of fantastic food, inspiring vendors, think tanks and scintillating discussions, live music, local and national sponsors, community outreach groups, and learn about featured nonprofit, youth (and adult) activities.

SouthWest Vegfest is a 100% FREE to the public AND 100% Non-profit festival with a focus on food, retail, entertainment, education and inspiration from the SW region, celebrating health, the environment, and animal welfare!  All profits from SW VegFest 2017 will go to Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s largest and most effective farm animal rescue and protection organization.

In fact, for the inaugural SW VegFest we will be partnering with the good folks over at Farm Sanctuary, co-coordinating the festival with their biggest event of the year, The Plant-Powered Run, which will be held before the festival. Registration and activities for the run begin at 8am.  The walk will begin at 9:15am with the 5k run beginning at 9:30am.  Then run on over the the festival that begins at 10am! Register for the walk run here: http://action.farmsanctuary.org/site/TR?fr_id=1103&pg=entry

What makes Southwest VegFest different? They are the only 100% non-profit VegFest in the region and have partnered directly with Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s largest and most effective farm animal rescue and protection organization. The event is put on by members of the local community and SW VegFest is also 100% FREE to the community. They want everyone to be able to enjoy an event that is all about celebrating, collaborating, and learning how we can help animals, significantly lessen our impact on the environment, and improve our overall health. The festival brings together local businesses, nonprofits, and individuals committed to creating a more compassionate, sustainable, and healthy community.
